The Legendary Lester Lanin

His credits make him the greatest bandleader of all time. Lester Lanin played for the weddings of Prince Charles and Princess Di, and Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson. He Played Queen Elizabeth's 60th birthday and Prince Edward's 21st birthday. At every Inaugural Ball since Eisenhower and numerous state dinners at the White House, Lester Lanin has provided the dance music. The Whitneys, Vanderbilts, Fords, Rockefellers, duPonts, Mellons and many others have hired him for their parties. He played Ross Perot's daughter's wedding, and it was a Lester Lanin band that played at the wedding of Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley. He played for Malcolm Forbes on the night Forbes celebrated the 70th anniversary of his company and gave Elizabeth Taylor a Million Dollar check for AIDS research.

His adaptability to the specific musical requirements of an engagement and his non-stop music have made him the King of the dance bands. He was the first bandleader to play rock music at a party in 1954, and as a guest at one of the royal weddings said, "Lester Lanin's music would make and earthworm want to dance!" Generations of party planners have agreed: " A successful party starts with Lester Lanin music."

His music has been heard at the best affairs which have included 15,000 weddings, 6,000 debutante parties, 2,500 proms, and countless cotillions, conventions, charity benefits, and private parties.

Consider the Lester Lanin Orchestra for your next event. You don't have to be Rich and Famous to hire the best!
