Two Sides
It was a cold winter morning in Zimmerman, Minnesota, I had just woken
up and decided to look out the window, what I saw amazed me and I knew that
I had to take a photograph. The sun was still just barely rising over the treetops
when I got outside. I took the picture, just in time, too, and I liked the way it
turned out.
The image is a beautiful representation of my love of the snow and also a
reminder to stay positive in everything. If you look closely you can see two
distinct sides of the photo. One side is bright and sunny, the snow is sparkling,
and the buds on the tree precede new life. The other side is darker, the sun isn’t
shining, the tree is bare, and everything looks cold and very uninviting. The
side in the sun represents a positive attitude toward life; the darker side
represents a negative attitude. You can clearly see that the positive side is more
inviting and beautiful, and the negative side is not. This goes to show, that if
you have a positive attitude, you will always see a things in a different light.
